-Blueprint Color Techniques-
Foil Stacking + Reverse Foil Stacking
Creating a gradient balayage look without hair painting. Although hair painting and balayage have taken our industry by storm, many stylists after taking dozens of classes are not grasping the concept because it doesn’t speak to their way of thinking. Fear not! Gina herself has a hard time with balayage because she prefers a more basic and methodic application theory, which is why she created the foil stacking and reverse foil stacking methods to show stylists how to create these looks in a foil placement instead of via balayage. The result is longer lasting, more controlled, with more lift and with less sessions than a traditional balayage service – leaving your clients thrilled with the end result.
The GBH Foil
Get back to basics with foiling, foil placement and formulation for highlighting and low lighting. Gina will show you how she trains each one of her team members to deliver a perfect foil placement based on the guests haircut and color history. This technique will also help you have the confidence to tell a client exactly what they need based on the look they want.
